On March 27th starting at 5:30 p.m. the MCA has organized a lecture by Arlene Blum at the Bear Tooth Theater in Anchorage. Among many lifetime accomplishments, Arlene was part of the first all-women expedition to summit Denali in 1970 and led the first group of Americans to climb Annapurna in 1978 (also all women). She also has a successful career as a scientist and advocate, and her presentation will blend highlights from all of those passions.
